TheDailyMail has revealed that actress Gemma Arterton (Rock N Rolla, Clash of The Titans) along with Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass, Avengers), Djimon Hounsou (Gladiator, Guardians of The Galaxy, Shazam!), veteran actress Alison Steadman, and Tom Hollander have now joined the cast of Kingsman: The Great Game, the prequel/origin film that will explore the early days of the Kingsman that stars Ralph Fiennes and Harrison Dickinson.

Gemma will play the role of the Nanny and Hollander will be playing multiple roles.

It will be directed by Matthew Vaughn with a script penned by Matthew and his writing partner Jane Goldman (The Long Night, X-Men: First Class).

The cast also includes Matthew Goode (Watchmen), Daniel Bruhl (Inglourious Basterds, Captain America: Civil War), Charles Dance (Alien 3, Game of Thrones, Godzilla: King of The Monsters), and Rhys Ifans.

The Great Game will take place after WWI and is expected to cover the origins of the Kingsman.

Filming is currently underway in at Longcross Studios with Ben Davis (Guardians of The Galaxy, Layer Cake) set as the movie’s cinematographer (first reported by HN Entertainment).

20th Century Fox had originally set its release date for November 8th, but that date could certainly change. Kingsman: The Great Game will be one of the first R-rated Fox movies to be released while under the Disney umbrella.
