HN Entertainment has been able to confirm that cinematographer Laurie Rose has joined the upcoming Christmas movie Silent Night from Marv Films, the production company behind the Kingsman franchise and the recent Elton John flick Rocketman starring Taron Egerton.
Rose’s credits include Free Fire, Overlord, High-Rise, and most recently worked on Ben Wheatley’s Rebecca for Netflix.
You can check-out some of Laurie’s fantastic work below.
Silent Night’s cast includes Roman Griffin Davis (Jojo Rabbit), Keira Knightley (The Imitation Game), Matthew Goode (Watchmen), and Annabelle Wallis (Malignant).
The movie will be written and directed by Roman’s mother Camille Griffin.
According to Deadline, Silent Night begins shooting February 17th.
They also mentioned brief details of the film’s plot and sounds like it could have a genre-bending aspect that is not being made public (either thriller or horror).
While Silent Night’s plot details are being kept largely under wraps, the festive comedy will focus on an extended family having a Christmas dinner in a country setting.
Roman’s Jojo Rabbit co-star Archie Yates also happens to be starring in the Home Alone reboot from 20th Century Studios/Disney.
Marv Films is about to release their Kingsman prequel The King’s Man in September and Kingsman 3 is also expected to begin shooting sometime in the near future.
