Calling all Disney fans, it’s finally confirmed that the highly anticipated live-action Mulan film is getting its first trailer tomorrow during the FIFA Women’s World Cup Final.
Fox Sports officially announced the trailer would arrive on Sunday on their channel, presumably during the World Cup finale between the United States and Netherlands. Besides the official image released months ago, the trailer will give us our first glimpse of Disney’s reimagining of Mulan.
Trailer Track recently reported that the teaser trailer was rated at roughly 1 minute and a half in length. The completion of said teaser is just in time for The Lion King, which arrives in theaters on July 19.
The Zookeeper’s Wife director Niki Caro is helming the Disney film from a screenplay by Lauren Hynek, Elizabeth Martin, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. The film stars Crystal Liu as Mulan alongside Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Ron Yuan, Tzi Ma, Rosalind Chao, Cheng Pei-Pei, Nelson Lee, Gong Li and Jet Li.
Mulan is set to hit theaters on March 27, 2020.
