Filming is underway on the Tom Clancy adaptation Without Remorse at Paramount Pictures/Skydance Media that is starring Black Panther’s Michael B. Jordan as John Clark.
Clark, aka John Terrence Kelly, is an ex-Navy-SEAL-turned-operations-officer for the CIA who has appeared in 17 novels starting with 1988’s “The Cardinal of the Kremlin.” Though mainly seen as a secondary character who helps CIA analyst Jack Ryan with the physical elements of missions, Clark finally stepped into the spotlight with “Without Remorse,” which tells his backstory on how he came to work for the CIA.
The Navy SEAL, goes on a path to avenge his wife’s murder only to find himself inside a larger conspiracy.
The official Skydance Media Twitter account has now posted a teaser video that seemingly has announced that production has begun and we see Jordan as John Clark in his Navy SEAL get-up.

Without Remorse is an adaptation of the Tom Clancy novel and takes place within the same world as the Jack Ryan stories. Clark has appeared in the movies played by Willem Dafoe (Clear and Present Danger) and Liev Schreiber (The Sum of All Fears).
Production is taking place at Studio Babelsberg, which is located just outside Berlin, Germany and Stateside in Washington D.C.
We’ll keep an eye out for other secondary filming locations.

Michael B. Jordan is going to reprise the role of John Clark in Paramount’s Rainbow Six movie, which is also in development at the studio as they believe Without Remorse will kick-off a new action franchise.
Paramount has given Without Remorse a release date of September 18th, 2020.
