Earlier today a photo of a Russian calendar surfaced on Instagram of promotional art for Disney’s Frozen 2, featuring Anna and Elsa and their possible new look.
The image translates to “Cold Heart 2,” Cold Heart is the title used for Frozen in Russia. Disney has yet to comment on the image, and they likely won’t. Rumors have been swirling that a trailer is expected to drop soon. So, Disney may use the trailer as a way to confirm or deny.
Last year, a previous version of the calendar contained licensing art for Solo: A Star Wars Story. Which a lot of site claimed to be fake, well it turned out to be 100% legit. That’s not to say that this look at Frozen 2 is certainly legitimate, but at least it’s a little bit of evidence providing hope that it is.
The films original voice cast Kristen Bell (Anna), Idina Menzel (Elsa), Josh Gad (Olaf), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff), Santino Fontana (Hans), and Alan Tudyk (Duke) are all expected to return. Along with no additions to the cast Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown.
Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are on board to direct. Peter Del Vecho is producing. Allison Schroeder the screenwriter behind Hidden Figures and Christopher Robin is assisting Lee with writing duties. As of now the plot is unknown.
Frozen 2 is set to hit theaters on November 22, 2019.
