Lucasfilm has unleashed a bunch of stellar official concept artwork (seen during the end credits of the episodes) from the Disney+ series The Mandalorian which is currently two episodes deep via their Twitter accounts.
This batch of artwork would likely spoil stuff from the show, so you’ve been warned.
After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. The series depicts a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
The artists behind the artwork include Ryan Chruch, Nick Gindraux, John Park, Doug Chiang, Jama Jurabaev, and Christian Alzmann.
Check out the artwork below.
Showrunner/producer Jon Favreau has also dropped this piece of Baby Yoda concept art by Christian Alzmann on his Instagram account.
Hopefully, this means that Lucasfilm will drop more concept art with each episode release and this certainly isn’t all of the art from the episodes as plenty of sequences/characters are missing.
I’m sure we’ll get Jawa and other character concept art down the line.
The third episode of The Mandalorian is set to drop on Friday, November 22nd.
