Alexandra Shipp might be best known for her portrayal of Storm in X-Men: Apocalypse and the upcoming release Dark Phoenix. We now have word she might be heading to the small screen for USA Network’s Jason Bourne series Treadstone.

HN Entertainment has exclusively learned from a source that Alexandra Shipp has been offered the lead role of Tara Coleman, a former journalist that becomes entangled in the series plot concerning the hunt for a rogue nuclear weapon that goes missing and is thought to have fallen into the hands of the North Koreans.
We were also able to get some further intel on two other female roles in series.
Soyun, a CIA sleeper agent located in North Korea that struggles to choose between her family and the mission after she is activated to help track down the nuclear weapon. CIA Deputy Director Gail Chandler, who believes Tara is the best chance on finding the device. The latter role is designed as a guest starring role.
Filming on the series is expected to begin this January in Budapest, Hungary.
Some of Alexandra Shipp’s upcoming projects include Dark Phoenix and the new Shaft movie which are both arriving in June.
Deadline previously revealed that Jeremy Irvine and Brian J. Smith had taken lead roles on the series.
