HN Entertainment has been able to confirm that stunt coordinator Bradley James Allen (Solo: A Star Wars Story, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Wonder Woman, Scott Pilgrim) will be reuniting with director Matthew Vaughn on the prequel and will also act the film’s 2nd unit director. Allen previously had the same roles on Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
We first revealed that Captain Marvel cinematographer Ben Davis and Star Wars: The Force Awakens production designer Darren Gilford would be part of the production team.
Kingsman: The Great Game takes place after the events of WWI as they explore the origins of the Kingsman. Its cast includes Ralph Fiennes, Harris Dickinson, Gemma Arterton, Daniel Bruhl, Charles Dance, Stanley Tucci, Aaron Johnson, Djimon Hounsou, Matthew Goode, and Tom Hollander.
Matthew Vaughn co-wrote the script with longtime writing partner Jane Goldman, who is currently showrunning the Game of Thrones prequel series The Long Night for HBO.
Filming on Kingsman: The Great Game is currently shooting at Longcross Studios in the UK.
Kingsman 3 is still expected to go into production at some point.
20th Century Fox recently bumped the release date of Kingsman: The Great Game to February 14th, 2020. The spot was previously held by Bond 25 before moving to April.
