Ridley Scott will finally make the jump to television with his science fiction series Raised By Wolves for TNT. Scott had been previously developing a string of potential features he could tackle next such as The Cartel, Alien: Awakening, Disney’s Merlin Saga, and a sequel to Gladiator only to jump on to Wolves instead.

Raised by Wolves centers upon two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet. As the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences the androids learn that controlling the beliefs of humans is a treacherous and difficult task.

HN Entertainment can exclusively reveal that Ridley will be reuniting with his Alien: Covenant production designer Chris Seagers. We’ve been able to confirm with sources that Seagers has signed-on for the series. His other credits include X-Men: First Class, Deepwater Horizon, Fantastic Four (2014), Domino, Man on Fire, and Spy Game.

Filming is said to begin mid-January in Cape Town, South Africa and could wrap its shoot sometime in September 2019.

We are also expecting to see Scott’s long-time cinematographer Dariusz Wolski (Prometheus, Alien: Covenant, The Martian) will be involved as well.

Casting announcements are likely the next big step for the show.

An air date has yet to be revealed for Raised By Wolves from TNT.
