It was officially announced recently that Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Rings would be primarily filming at Fox Studios Australia in Sydney, Australia.
HN Entertainment has learned that Marvel is considering shooting scenes outside of Australia, those locations would certainly be fitting with Hong Kong and Vietnam said to be two of them.
UPDATE: Unbeknownst to us, Charles Murphy tweeted out the possible locations a couple of days ago. Which would certainly bring validity to the locales.
While 'SHANG-CHI' will be in studio in Australia, you can expect quite a bit of location work. I'm told locations in and around Hong Kong and Vietnam will be seen in the film. pic.twitter.com/WM39CV09Ps

One of the lovely aspects of shooting in Sydney is the proximity of Australia to various Asian, South Pacific, and South Asian countries.
Hong Kong is a little more tentative at the moment considering the political upheaval there at the moment with massive protests and demonstrations, which could scare-off a massive production like Shang-Chi.
Vietnam was recently used for Kong: Skull Island and street sequences from Ghost In The Shell were shot in Hong Kong.
Destin Daniel Cretton will be directing from a script penned by David Callaham (The Expendables) with a cast that consists of Simu Liu, Tony Leung, and Awkwafina.
Shang-Chi is set for release on February 12th, 2021.
