HN Entertainment has confirmed that New Line Cinema’s sequel to 2017’s IT is getting three days of simple reshoots later this month in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where most of the filming for the horror film took place last year.
The reshoots are taking place between May 25th to May 27th and given how short they will nothing terribly impactful or worrisome, but reshoots are not always a bad sign.
Filming on principal photography completed last October.
The second film will see the Losers as grown adults, 27 years after the last film. Pennywise The Dancing Clown makes a return to the sleepy town of Derry, Maine, and the group needs to reunite to stop him before more children fall victim to him.
Playing the grown version of The Losers include James McAvoy as Bill, Jessica Chastain as Beverly, Bill Hader Richie, Jay Ryan as Ben, James Ransone as Eddie, Andy Bean as Stanley, and Isaiah Mustafa as Mike.
Warner Bros. has set the film’s release date for September 6th.
