HN Entertainment has been able to confirm that Oscar-winner Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci are taking lead roles in a new drama film titled Supernova.
The low-budget project for Quiddity will be helmed by Hinterland’s Harry Macqueen and will shot by fantastic cinematographer Dick Pope.
Pope’s credits include Another Year, Happy-Go-Lucy, Legend, and recently worked on Edward Norton’s Motherless Brooklyn.
The project is said to be a drama but details are unknown at the moment.
Colin Firth won his Best Actor Oscar for his excellent work in The King’s Speech and is expected to return to the Kingsman franchise for the untitled third film according to director Matthew Vaughn.
Stanley Tucci has also had a varied film career jumping from large blockbusters to independent/festival dramas.
It’ll be exciting to see them paired-up.
