After inquiring if 20th Century Fox will be at San Diego Comic-Comic next month, we have exclusive word from a studio representative that they’ll be passing just like Warner Bros. and have “nothing planned” concerning a presentation in Hall-H.
The studio’s presence over the years has been sparse at best.
Some of their big projects next year that could have used the extra promotion included Matthew Vaughn’s The King’s Man (Kingsman prequel) coming out on February 14th, 2020, Josh Boone’s The New Mutants set for April 3rd, 2020, the Ryan Reynolds action flick Free Guy releasing on July 3rd, 2020, and the Bob’s Burgers movie on July 17th, 2020.
Reportedly, Marvel Studios is making a big comeback and we may see Kevin Feige finally announce a bunch of their Phase 4 plans, including the six MCU films we already know about. Those movies are Black Widow, The Eternals, Shang-Chi, Guardians of The Galaxy 3, Black Panther 2, and Doctor Strange 2.
HN Entertainment will be attending next month, so stay tuned for our coverage.
Hopefully, both Warner Bros. and 20th Century Fox will reconsider a return for San Diego Comic-Con 2020.
