When Disney Plus (Disney+) launched on November 12th, it successfully marked the next big competitor in the “streaming wars.” In one day Disney reported over 10 million subscriptions and as of writing it has obtained 15M+ subscriptions. Upon launch however, a key feature for streaming content was missing…a “continue watching” feature.
The lack of “continue watching” drove people crazy on social media, as viewers became adjusted to no longer manually spotting their content via fast-forward or rewind. Luckily for Disney Plus users, Disney updated their service and now “continue watching” can help bridge user experience gaps between Disney Plus and other streaming sites. The feature is located in its own content row, as pictured below. This update to the streaming service was first reported by CNET.
