While there is a lot of less than fun news coming lately there was a neat Instagram post from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home director Jon Watts embracing a recent Spider-Man meme parodying the self-isolation/social distancing trend during the outbreak of COVID-19 in the United States.
You can see one of the versions below from @darklordcollectibles that Watts shared which uses one of the Spider-Man figures to promote the title Spider-Man: Work From Home, a nod to a lot of people working from home remotely during concerns of spreading the coronavirus in the workplace.
Sadly, we haven’t had too many updates concerning Spider-Man 3 for the moment and while production was expected to begin this summer, if pre-production isn’t able to get started in the next couple of months that start date and possibly the release date might not line-up.
Sony Pictures recently paused production on the Uncharted movie which is set to star Tom Holland as a young version of the treasure hunter Nathan Drake with Mark Wahlberg set to play his mentor Sully.
There is a good chance that once Uncharted starts up production, Spider-Man 3 could be delayed into the fall/winter.
We’ll stay optimistic for the time being and are exicted to see what they have planned for the third installment.
