20th Century Fox has officially announced the cast of their Murder On The Orient Express sequel Death On The Nile, which will yet again be directed by Kenneth Branagh.
Fox making the announcement via the official Twitter account of the previous film.
The film’s full cast includes Kenneth Branagh return as Detective Hercule Poirot, Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Armie Hammer (Call Me By Your Name), Letitia Wright (Black Panther), Annette Bening (Captain Marvel), Ali Fazal, Sophie Okonedo, Tom Batman, Emma Mackey, Dawn French (Absolutely Fabulous), Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones), Jennifer Saunders (Absolutely Fabulous), and Russell Brand (Forgetting Sarah Marshall).
This would cement that Jodie Comer indeed won’t be in the film.

The film is based on the Agatha Christie novel that was adapted by screenwriter Michael Green (Blade Runner 2049, Logan).
On a luxurious cruise on the Nile River, a wealthy heiress, Linnet Ridgeway, is murdered. Fortunately, among the passengers are famed Belgian detective Hercule Poirot and his trusted companion, Colonel Race, who immediately begin their investigation. But just as Poirot identifies a motley collection of would-be murderers, several of the suspects also meet their demise, which only deepens the mystery of the killer’s identity.
Filming is expected to be already underway at Longcross Studios in Surrey, England (previously confirmed by HN Entertainment), where Murder On The Orient Express was also shot.
The production team for Death On The Nile includes production designer Jim Clay, supervising art director Dominic Masters, and cinematographer Haris Zambarloukos.
We’ve also learned that secondary filming is expected to take place in various parts of Egypt as well.
Death On The Nile is set to be released on October 9th, 2020.
