DC Comics’ streaming service has finally officially been unveiled, as well as the logos for three exclusive original series coming to the service. The platform, which we now know will be called DC Universe, was revealed by the company in a press release this afternoon.
“DC Universe is a first-of-its kind, immersive digital experience designed just for DC fans,” the comics giant stated in their official press release.
Along with that short tagline, DC revealed the official logos for the three original series coming to the platform some time this year. First, the live-action Teen Titans series simply called Titans features a pretty simple, spray-paint, street-art style logo potentially giving us a hint at the tone the series is going for.
Next, the long-awaited third season of Young Justice, titled Young Justice: Outsiders. We don’t have many details on that show yet outside of a few details about new and returning characters, but it might pick up the story left off in season two, which was setting up for an appearance from big bad Darkseid.
Last but not least, the Harley Quinn animated series. Again, it’s a pretty simple logo, cursive lettering and hot-pink, resembling the logo for Harley’s recent comic series’.
We still have no time-table for the release of the platform, but DC Comics promises we’ll have more information soon, as the service is set to debut this year.
