It was recently confirmed by Bond franchise producer Barbara Broccoli that Shatterhand won’t be the title of Bond 25, something that has been making the fan rounds for over year, but the producer debunked with a recent autograph that was posted on the official 007 Instagram account.
Well, we may have discovered one possible title for the final Daniel Craig era installment.
HN Entertainment has stumbled across some UK production intel that suggests that the working title during the British leg of the film will be Eclipse. The title listing comes from a textile artist that is also currently working on Kingsman: The Great Game in London and thanks to Google cache was kept alive after she deleted it.
Just to be clear, this title likely won’t be the final title for the film and will be used for filming. Normally, we see that producers announce the title and casting during a large press event before filming even begins. I’m leaning towards this title being given out to production crews before they make their big announcement.
The cast so far includes Daniel Craig, recent Best Actor winner Rami Malek as the film’s main villain, Lea Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, and Naomie Harris.
Filming locations are said to include Pinewood Studios UK along with locations that include Norway and Jamaica.
Keep in mind, I also first confirmed that Avengers 4 was actually titled Avengers: Endgame back in July thanks to a crew member’s resume listing. That was a similar situation as they also deleted the entry.
The release date for Bond 25 was delayed from February 14th, 2020 to April 8th, 2020.
