No Spam, Advertising, and/or Self-promotion in the forums
These forums define spam as unsolicited advertisement for goods, services and/or other web sites, or posts with little, or completely unrelated content. Do not spam the forums with links to your site or product, or try to self-promote your website, business or forums etc. Spamming also includes sending private messages to a large number of different users.
Certain exceptions apply as directed by the site Editor-in-Chief.
Do not ask for user personal information
Your account will be banned permanently and your posts will be deleted.
Post in relevant community forums only
Messages posted in the wrong topic area will be removed and placed in the correct sub-forum by moderators.
Do not cross post questions
Please refrain from posting the same question in several forums. There is normally one forum which is most suitable in which to post your question.
Do not post “offensive” posts, links or images
Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums. This includes user pictures. No profanity or pornography is allowed.
No threats or harassment of other users will be tolerated. Any instance of threatening or harassing behavior is considered for suspension or deletion from the forums.
Use common sense while posting.
Do not post copyright-infringing material
Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain copyrighted materials is forbidden.
While you may discuss a leaked image, video, or other material from a movie, TV show, comic, etc. please do not post it here.
Becoming a Moderator
All moderator applicants must be a member for at least 90 days (3 months) and have at least 100 posts or replies to posts throughout the community forums.
You must be active in the specific community forum(s) you wish to moderate and regularly create and respond to threads in those forums.
Please be aware that applying to be a moderator does not guarantee acceptance and that moderators will only be appointed when needed by the site Editor-in-Chief.
The Editor-in-Chief will have the final say and reserves the right to refuse applicants with or without cause. Please submit applications to him/her.
Moderator Policy
In Order To Apply To Be A Moderator You Should:
- be at least 18 years old
- have been a member of the community forum for at least 3 months
- be proactive on the community forum of interest
- knowledgeable about the subject matter they would like to moderate.
