HN Entertainment has learned that Neil Burger’s science fiction take on Lord of The Flies titled Voyagers will have production designer Scott Chambliss. Scott’s credits include Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, Godzilla: King of The Monsters, Cowboys and Aliens, Guardians of The Galaxy Vol.2, and Mission: Impossible III.

Also, they’ve added art director Kevin Houlihan, who worked on Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, Guardians of The Galaxy Vol.2, Jungle Crusie, and the pilot episode of HBO’s Watchmen.

Thriller about 30 children who are sent on a multi-generational mission to populate a new planet. After the captain [Farrell] of the mission is killed in mysterious circumstances, the young crew descends into chaos, aligning themselves into tribes as they surrender to their most feral impulses.

Limitless’ Neil Burger is writing/directing with a cast that includes Tye Sheridan (Ready Player One, Dark Phoenix), Fionn Whitehead (Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, Dunkirk), Kelvin Harrison (Mudbound), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Game of Thrones), Lily-Rose Depp, and Keean Johnson (Alita: Battle Angel).

I’m now very interested to see how this movie will pan out given the creative team they’ve assembled so far along with the cast.

Filming is said to begin this month in Bucharest, Romania.

A release date has yet to be set for Voyagers as it seemingly doesn’t have a domestic distributor.
