Impossible – Fallout’ Costume Designer Jeffrey Kurland

HN Entertainment recently revealed that Christopher Nolan’s next unnamed feature film for Warner Bros. would be shooting a portion of the project in the United Kingdom. We’ve now learned that filming is expected to take place in India as well.

Plot details for the projects aren’t currently known but the tone has been described as a mix between North By Northwest meets Inception.

The untitled action film will star potential new Batman actor Robert Pattinson, who is recently getting some buzz at Cannes for his horror flick The Lighthouse directed by The Witch’s Robert Eggers and co-stars with Willem Dafoe. BlacKkKlansman’s David John Washington and Widows’ Elizabeth Debicki also have lead roles.

Another small tidbit we can add is that costume designer Jeffrey Kurland is joining the film after working with Nolan on Inception and Dunkirk. His other credits include Christopher McQuarrie’s Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s Eleven, and Michael Mann’s Collateral.

Other previously revealed crew members are expected to include cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema (Dunkirk, Interstellar, Spectre, Ad Astra), confirmed editor Jennifer Lame (Manchester By The Sea, Hereditary), and possibly production designer Nathan Crowley (Interstellar, Dunkirk, The Dark Knight Trilogy).

Filming is said to kick-off this summer and Warner Bros. has set the film’s release date for July 17th, 2020.
