The Captains are teasing a possible interest in roles in the reportedly in-development Star Wars film from Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige.

Captain America’s Chris Evans and Captain Marvel’s Brie Larson took to Twitter suggesting they should be considered for the Star Wars flick from Feige or any Star Wars movie for that matter.

How serious this is remains to be seen as both are highly active on their social media accounts and post tongue-in-cheek tweets often.

Chris Evans has seemingly finished-up with the Captain America role, which could allow him an opening to jump onto a massive franchise role in something like Star Wars.

We also know that Larson is a die-hard Star Wars and has mentioned previously in interviews a desire to play a Jedi like her friend/co-star Samuel L. Jackson. Brie is expected to play Carol Danvers in at least two more solo films and could show up in other MCU projects as well.

The pair of actors have a bit of history prior to appearing together in Avengers: Endgame, as they both had roles in Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

Speaking of Endgame, having two actors from the highest-grossing film (unadjusted) could help boost interest in Star Wars as the franchise has mostly relied on the brand alone getting asses in seats.

Considering how early the development is on the project, I doubt we get any concrete details or casting announcements any time soon. But it is nice to know that Evans and Larson are ready to jump in if asked to.
