Over the last couple of weeks and months, there have been some rumors and fan speculation that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. actress Chloe Bennett might be reprising her role as Daisy Johnson aka Quake in the upcoming S.W.O.R.D. series (in development stages) that might land on Disney+ or a newly rumored Secret Warriors project.
Yesterday, Chloe took to Twitter to dispel any involvement in those projects after interacting with a fan.
BENNETT: “I wish that were true… but they aren’t… I haven’t heard anything about that besides on twitter.”

I understand the fan excitement and desire to see Kevin Feige carry-over the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cast to Disney+ projects to the hard-canon Marvel Cinematic Universe and there even had been fan assumptions that he would “save the show” by extending extra seasons beyond the upcoming final season on streaming. However, that seems to be nothing but wishes at this point.
This would seemingly mirror Charlie Cox’s recent debunking of rumors that he would be showing up in Spider-Man 3 as Daredevil and downplaying the idea of Season 4 happening, his Netflix series had been canceled with many fans speculating that he would make the jump to feature films without any real concrete evidence of that happening.
We’ve seen Kevin Feige decimate all of the former Jeph Loeb series including the recent dismantling of a Hulu series for Ghost Rider, a couple of cartoon series such as Kevin Smith’s Howard The Duck, and even signals that Helstrom will be a one-and-done series. These changes taking place after Loeb was removed from his position at Marvel Television and the company being rebranded as Marvel TV Studios under the new supervision of Kevin Feige, who is now the chief creative officer at Marvel overseeing television, film, cartoons, and publishing.
I think fans will need to open to the idea that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ending might be end of those characters.
