The voice cast for Warner Animation Groups’ Scooby-Doo/Hanna-Barbera animated film Scoob keeps on growing.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Captain Marvel and Young Sheldon stars McKenna Grace and Iain Armitage have joined the production. Grace will voice a young Daphne, while Armitage will voice Scoob’s best friend a young Shaggy.
The movie will follow the Mystery Inc. gang as they “join forces with other heroes of the Hanna-Barbera universe to save the world from Dick Dastardly and his evil plans…and this time, we are told, the threat is real.”
Grace and Armitage join an all-star cast that includes Zac Efron as Fred, Amanda Seyfried as Daphne, Gina Rodriguez as Velma, Will Forte as Shaggy, Tracy Morgan as Captain Caveman, Frank Welker as Scooby-Doo, Kiersey Clemons as Dee Dee Skyes, with Mark Wahlberg, Ken Jeong and Jason Isaacs recently joining as Blue Falcon, Dynomutt and Dick Dastardly. The film will be directed by Tony Cervone.
Scoob is expected to hit theaters on May 15, 2020.
