Singer Billie Eilish and EON/MGM have officially announced that the young artist will be singing the theme song for No Time To Die, as she joins recent contributors Adele and Sam Smith (both won Oscars).

EILISH: “It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock.”

Composer Hans Zimmer (Inception, The Dark Knight, Blade Runner 2049, Dune) has also confirmed reports he’ll be taking over scoring duties on the film.

The cast will include Daniel Craig as James Bond, Lea Seydoux as Madeleine Swann, Rami Malek (Bohemian Rapsody) as a new villain name Safin, Jeffrey Wright (Westworld) as Felix Leiter, Ralph Fiennes (The King’s Man) as M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel) as Nomi aka the new Agent 007, Ana de Armas (Blade Runner 2049) as Paloma, Ben Whishaw as Q, Billy Magnussen, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, David Dencik, and Dali Benssalah.

Spectre’s Christoph Waltz is also coming back as the notorious villain Blofeld as revealed in the recent trailer.

No Time To Die is set to be released on April 8th.

Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
