It looks like Bond 25 finally found a composer according to a new report from IndieWire.
They claim that composer Dan Romer will reunite with director Cary Fukunaga, after previously working with him on the Netflix projects Beasts of No Nation and Maniac.
The search for a “Bond 25” composer has ended with the perfect choice: Dan Romer, who provided offbeat, eclectic scores for director Cary Fukunaga’s trippy “Maniac” series and haunting “Beasts of No Nation” feature. IndieWire has learned that Romer will soon reunite with Fukunaga on “Bond 25,” currently shooting in London.
The impressive cast includes Daniel Craig (in his expected final outing as 007), Lea Seydoux, Rami Malek (Mr. Robot, The Pacific, Bohemian Rapsody), Jeffrey Wright (Westworld), Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel), Ana de Armas (Blade Runner 2049), Ben Whishaw, Billy Magnussen, Rory Kinnear, David Dencik, and Dali Benssalah.
“Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”
Bond 25 is currently shooting on location in England and is set for release on April 8th, 2020.
