HN Entertainment has learned that John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place 2 has added supervising stunt coordinator Mike Gunther, who had previously worked on the first film.

Mike’s stunt coordinator credits include Bad Boys For Life, Bumblebee, Transformers: The Last Knight, Star Trek Beyond, Fast Five, Transformers: Age of Extinction, Fast and Furious, Sabotage, and End of Watch.

John Krasinski is back as the sequel’s writer and director.

The cast reportedly consists of Emily Blunt (Edge of Tomorrow, Looper), Cillian Murphy (Inception, Dunkirk, Batman Begins, Peaky Blinders), Brian Tyree Henry (Widows, Joker, Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, Atlanta), Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe.

It’s been said that we’ll see more survivors and could explore the origin of the creatures.

A Quiet Place exploded at the global box office last year making an impressive $340.9 million for Paramount Pictures on a budget of $17 million. There is a strong expectation that the sequel will also do gangbusters.

Paramount has set the A Quiet Place 2’s release date for March 30th, 2020.

In the modern horror thriller A QUIET PLACE, a family of four must navigate their lives in silence after mysterious creatures that hunt by sound threaten their survival. If they hear you, they hunt you.
