We’re really interested to see the next Stephen King adaptation to make it to the small screen with CBS All Access’ new version of The Stand. There is an update concerning a recent casting report for the main leads.
After a deadly plague kills most of the world’s population, the remaining survivors split into two groups – one led by a benevolent elder and the other by a maleficent being – to face each other in a final battle between good and evil.
Director/showrunner Josh Boone took to Instagram to officially confirm the previously reported lineup (via Collider) of James Marsden as Stu Redman, Amber Heard as Nadine Cross, Henry Zaga as Nick Andros, and Odessa Young as Frannie Goldsmith.
HN recently posted the production would begin on September 16th in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and is expected to wrap on March 11th.
We also added that production designer Aaron Haye (Bohemian Raphosdy) has joined the crew.
I assume Josh will confirm the rest of the cast in the coming days.
