HN Entertainment first reported that writer/director Michael Mohan (Everything Sucks!) would be returning to the world of film as he would be tackling a new film titled The Voyeurs for Amazon Studios.

Amazon Studios has now announced that production has begun on Mohan’s thriller in Montreal, Quebec, Canada along with revealing the cast will include Sydney Sweeney, Justice Smith, Ben Hardy, and Natasha Liu Bordizzo.

Amazon Studios is in production on writer/director Michael Mohan’s The Voyeurs in Montreal, Canada. The sexy thriller will star Sydney Sweeney (Euphoria), Justice Smith (Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, The Get Down), Ben Hardy (Bohemian Rhapsody) and Natasha Liu Bordizzo (The Society, Hotel Mumbai). The Voyeurs is produced by Divide/Conquer’s Greg Gilreath and Adam Hendricks with Zac Locke executive producing. The Voyeurs will launch exclusively worldwide on Amazon Prime Video.

They’ve also included the film’s synopsis.

When Pippa and Thomas move into their dream apartment, they notice that their windows look directly into the apartment opposite – inviting them to witness the volatile relationship of the attractive couple across the street. But when they attempt to anonymously intercede in their lives, they unwittingly set in motion a chain of events that will lead to disaster.

Along with The Voyeur’s production team confirming other information we previously reported on.

The director of photography is Elisha Christian (Columbus, Everything Sucks!), with production design led by Adam Reamer (Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionist), casting by Amey René (Paddleton, Blue Jay) and costume design by Romy Itzigsohn (The Oath, Sierra Burgess is a Loser).

A release date for The Voyeurs isn’t mentioned in the press release but sometime in 2020 is a good bet to make.
