It’s official Bill and Ted 3 aka Bill and Ted Face The Music is officially a go!
A direct sequel to the films Bill and Ted’s Excellent Journey/Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey.
Orion Pictures has announced today on YouTube with the help of stars Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves that the third movie is now expected shoot this summer with an August 21st, 2020 release date. Exciting news for fans like myself that love the original movies (in my opinion, Bogus Journey was the better of the two).
Plot details suggest a time traveler seeks out Bill and Ted’s help as they create a song that saves all humankind and with the help of their daughters they’ll have to find their former Wyld Stallyns selves to find that right tune.
With filming set to begin this summer, we suspect that casting will begin very shortly as the two biggest supporting roles will be the actresses set to play their daughters. William Sadler is expected to reprise the role of the Grim Reaper and it will be directed by Galaxy Quest’s Dean Parisot.
A script was penned by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon.
Keanu Reeves will be reprising the role of assassin legend John Wick in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum set to be released on May 17th.
